Transcatheter aortic valve implantation

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) does not fulfil the established medical science and medical practice criterion for patients with severe AS who have an increased – but acceptable – surgical risk. TAVI is not part of the insured basic package for this group of patients.
